Photography Sessions
What kinds of sessions do you offer?
I photograph children, families, couples, seniors, newborns, and milestones.
A standard portrait session includes a 45-minute on-location session, professionally edited digital images delivered through an online gallery, and personal printing rights so you can print your favorites whenever you’d like.
Senior and newborn sessions typically last 60–90 minutes. Newborn sessions take place in your home so everyone can stay comfortable and relaxed.
Throughout the year, I also offer seasonal Mini Sessions. They’re announced on social media and through my website and tend to book quickly. They’re perfect for updated family photos, milestones, or holiday cards.
Where do sessions take place?
Almost anywhere.
One of my favorite parts of photography is finding locations that fit you. Whether that’s a local park, downtown Pittsburgh, your backyard, or your living room, we’ll choose a location that feels authentic to your family and your story.
How do I book?
Simply fill out the contact form and I’ll be in touch to find a date that works.
Before your session, we’ll chat over email about locations, timing, outfit ideas, and any questions you have. The session fee is due when your date is reserved.
What are sessions like?
Relaxed. Easy. Fun.
The goal isn’t perfectly posed photos—it’s capturing who you really are.
Some sessions are full of laughter. Some involve giving little ones time to warm up. Others are quiet and candid. Every family is different, and I adapt to you.
One of my favorite compliments is when clients tell me it didn’t feel like a photo shoot—it felt like spending time together. That’s exactly what I’m going for.
What should we wear?
Keep it simple and wear something that feels like you.
Coordinate rather than match, mix in textures or subtle patterns, and don’t overthink it. If you’re unsure, I’m always happy to help you choose outfits before your session.
When will we receive our photos?
Most galleries are delivered within about two weeks, although turnaround can be a little longer during busy seasons or if additional editing is needed.
You’ll receive an online gallery where you can easily download your edited images.
Can we reschedule?
Absolutely.
Life happens. If someone isn’t feeling well or the weather doesn’t cooperate, we’ll simply find another date that works.
What about prints?
Your gallery includes personal printing rights, so you’re free to print wherever you’d like.
If you’re looking for albums, canvases, or heirloom-quality prints, I’m happy to recommend professional labs that produce beautiful work.
